Danmar has an extensive experience in developing modern Web and mobile applications that are used for educational purposes. Danmar also has long-term experience of carrying out European projects within which company’s R&D staff conducts research and prepares trainings tailored to the needs of various learners. Public institution Information Technologies Institute (ITI)
From year 2000 ITI started with ECDL (European Computer Driving License) Programme implementation in Lithuania. Now ITI is the official ECDL Foundation Sub-licensee for Lithuania. Currently the development and dissemination of computer literacy related training/testing systems have the major importance for the Institute. ITI has developed the Automated ECDL Test System which is authorised by the ECDL Foundation. The In-Application testing based version of the Test System has entered the official authorization process at the ECDL Foundation level also. In 2009 ITI has launched the ECDL Foundation Endorsed Partner Programme e-Guardian.Currently ITI is involved in development of Learning/Testing solutions for ECDL, e-Citizen, CAD, security and children safety subjects in Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian, Azeri and English languages.ITI has an experience in international projects such as euCAD – Amplifying Skills for EUropean SMEs in Computer Aided Industrial Design, e-GUARDIAN (funded by Longlife Learning Programme), ENOTEs – ECDL National Operator and Testing Centers in Azerbaijan (funded by TEMPUS programme), ARTE – Augmented Reality for Technical Entrepreneurs (funded by a grant from EEA Grants scheme) and Online4EDU – Introducing online collaboration methods and tools in education (funded by ERASMUS+ programme). From November 2013 ITI (ECDL Lithuania) is involved as a stakeholder in the National Digital Coalition for the Promotion of Digital Skills for Jobs in Lithuania (www.skaitmeninekoalicija.lt/en/).

The Computer Highschool was founded in 1971 and ever since it proudly acknowledges every year that its graduates become very good professionals in the IT field and come to work for the most prestigious profile companies in the world. Our highschool is a promoter of the development of programming skills for our students and initiated in this respect a prestigious national programming competition in 2002, entitled “Moisil’s Followers”. This year we will celebrate its 17th edition.
The highschool projects a secure future for its students, founded on knowledge, and through the continuous effort to integrate IT in all educational activities. Promoting an education based on IT technologies in all study objects our highschool has initiated competitions that were extremely appreciated in the local educational context. The teachers and students from the school have worked in teams and produced over 25 educational soft programs in all subjects. We have won the title of European school due to the implementation of over 30 European projects in the last 8 years. At the same time the highschool is certified as a Cisco Academy and an Oracle Academy. Due to the school’s focus on ecological issues we have been certified as an Eco School, the last award being given this school year.
Northern Lithuania College
Northern Lithuania College is accredited private higher education institution. It is approved by Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania and develops its activities for more than 15 years. The graduates receive Vocational Bachelor Degree. Provision of higher education and Professional qualification services that are relevant to labour market needs, science and new technologies level. The college started its performance in 1994, when Business Advisory Centre was founded in Šiauliai, which dealt with various law, economics, and financial consultations for businessmen in Šiauliai region, organized and performed trainings, seminars, prepared investment projects, took part in various project activities.
The College has great well-equipped classrooms, computer laboratories, modern technical equipment and software, library, Practical Training Centre. The College provides full-time, part-time and distance learning studies.
